“Bury the Bearcats” will be the theme for Alliance High School’s Homecoming week.
Representing your favorite sports team will be Monday’s theme with a regular school day schedule. Other activities on Monday will include state girl’s golf at Grand Island and JV football will be taking on Scottsbluff at home.
On Tuesday, students are to sport duct tape and they will have a 2:22 dismissal, students will then start the competition of the mini Olympics. Wednesday will be “Merica Day” which means everyone should dress like a redneck.
Wednesday will also have a 2:22 dismissal. State softball will be taking place in Hastings on Wednesday.
Thursday is going to be tacky tourist day with the same dismissal. Thursday, freshman girl’s volleyball will be going to Sidney and varsity volleyball will be going to Gordon-Rushville for a Triangular.
Friday, as always, will be blue and white day with a noon dismissal so students can attend the parade. On Friday, varsity football will be taking on the Scottsbluff Bearcats. Good luck to all the athletes competing.
