State FFA

From April 9 to April 11 the Alliance High School FFA students attended the 86th State FFA convention. This year’s theme was “IGNITE”. Students that went this year include Krista Carter, Chase Dye, Rhiannon Minich, Whitney Hall, Michael Johnston, Trevor Leisy, Cheyl Aby, Amanda Lower, Brent Thomas, and Cody Henderson.
Individual & Team awards:
Cheryl Aby- Cooperative speaking- Bronze
Chase Dye– received a Sliver State on his Diversified Agriculture Production Proficiency application
Livestock Management Team
Cody Henderson, Krista Carter, Chase Dye, Whitney Hall, Trevor Leisy, & Michael Johnston received 1st in Beef Management Area, 5th Equine Management Area—Team Ribbon- Red
Veterinary Science Team:

“As a group we did well” says Cody Henderson a member of the FFA group. With this years seniors leaving, many of the members say that they will need to step up with everything, but mainly leadership skills. Although there are only a couple things that need to change, the FFA Team is very proud of how they did this year and are looking forward to the next convention.
