If you’ve checked your social media lately, you’ve probably heard of the UFO sighting that left California and Nevada residents wondering, are we truly alone in the universe?

Late November 7, 2015, a strange light streaked across the sky. At first, the object appeared orange and moved extremely fast, when suddenly the orange transformed into a giant blue light. An unnamed resident said it moved in a “circular haze.” Residents were quick to post on social media, captioned with theories of aliens, while others made frightened calls to their local law enforcement.

One man who caught the suspicious light on video was named Julien Solomita and he said “It was easily the craziest thing I’ve witnessed.” While watching the video, you can hear Solomita and his friends freaking out over what they’ve witnessed.

Early November 8, the government claimed it was a trident missile, test-fired by the Navy. A Navy spokesman released a statement saying, ”The tests were part of a scheduled, ongoing system evaluation test. Launches are conducted on a frequent, recurring basis to ensure the continued reliability of the system. Each test activity provides valuable information about our systems, thus contributing to assurance in our capabilities.” The missile was unarmed, however nighttime flights in and out of Los Angeles will be prohibited from passing over the Pacific Ocean, west of the airport, until November 12, as the U.S. military is using the airspace there.

Many conspirators don’t believe what the government claims, claiming the government is really hiding something from us, adding onto the previous conspiracy that the government is really conducting secret experiments on the extra terrestrial. What do you think? Are we truly the only living things in the universe? Or is there more out there, waiting to greet us?
