People all over the world are working hard in practicing their sport to get better and to be able to participate in the Olympics that is celebrated every four years. The best athlete from each country gets to participate and compete against other countries.

Big news today the summer Olympics 2020 are going to take place in Tokyo, Japan.

The news was announced on the September 7, 2013, in Buenos Aires, Argentina. It’s going to be held from July 24 –  August 9, 2020.

Japan’s first Olympics took place in 1964, and it’s the only Asian city to host the Olympics twice.  It’s very big and exciting event for everyone, especially those who participate and represent their country.

Japanese habitants were jubilated when they found out. They had worked really hard for this big event to happen in their city again. For some, it’s going to be their first Olympics so there a lot of excitement. The world is going to see what Japan’s like and what beautiful and great country it is.
