New Members Picnic

New Members Picnic

“Learning to Do, Doing to Learn, Earning to Live, Living to Serve”. That’s the FFA motto that was voiced at the new member’s picnic on September 9, 2013. The FFA new member picnic was held at the shelter house in the city park. More like a potluck, there were many new and interesting dishes to be served as the FFA President (Chase Dye), Vice President (Rhiannan Minch), Secretary (Krista Carter), Treasurer (Cody Henderson), Reporter (Tess Benham), Sentinel (Jamie Thompson), and the Parliamentarian (Shelbie Bolinger), and the rest of the FFA team welcomed the new comers.

All together the Alliance FFA team stands strong representing themselves as well as each other.  The FFA team refers to each other as brother and sister, making them all one big family that stretches all across America.

This week, the new members are in for a shock, taking a trip to Grand Island only two days after the new members picnic. It just goes to show that FFA is a very busy and hard working team. But it’s all worth it. The Alliance FFA team is a very welcoming and growing team that has an amazing future ahead of them. To learn how to join FFA contact any of the FFA officers or the Agriculture teacher Ms. Walla.
