March To Be Released: Movies

March is finally here. Time for flowers, rain, snow if you live in Nebraska, and of course new movies. This month will bring excitement and most likely laughs more than anything. Here’s a glimpse into what this month will bring:

Chappie – March 6

Chappie is a robot like no other. He feels, learns, and is also a child. Much like children, he has to learn the basic things. Some see him as a threat; a robot that had freethinking and a heart could be dangerous. His existence will change the world and the way they look at the world and humans forever.

Unfinished Business – March 6

Vince Vaughn, Tom Wilkinson, and Dave Franco star in a comedy about a trip to Europe to close the most important deal of their lives. What seems like a normal business trip at the beginning, a series of wild events happen making everything that could go wrong, go wrong.

Cinderella – March 13

A live-action film of Disney’s classic 1950 animated masterpiece is brought in a dazzling spectacle for a whole new generation. Starring Cate Blanchett, Lily James, Richard Madden, Helena Bonham Carter and Stellan Skarsgard, this classic will bring joy to every one of all ages.

The Divergent Series: Insurgent- March 20

The second part in the “Divergent” series, “Insurgent” finally comes out. The first movie ended with a cliffhanger leaving the audience wanting more, and here it is. The original cast returns including Shailene Woodley (Tris), Theo James (Four) and Kate Winslet (Jeanine). Tris and Four are on the run from the Erudite leader, Jeanine, to discover what her family sacrificed their lives to protect. Tris makes an impossible decision to unlock the truth about the past and future of their world.

Home- March 27

When Earth is taken over by an alien race called the Boov, humans have to be relocated while the aliens reorganize the planet to make it their home. One girl, Tip, manages to avoid getting captured, and becomes accomplices with a banished Boov named Oh. The two realize there is more at stake than interstellar relations, so they embark on a journey of a lifetime.

Also This Month

Don’t miss the short at the beginning of “Cinderella,” “Frozen Fever” featuring the entire original cast including Anna, Kristof, Olaf, and Elsa. It’s Anna’s birthday, but when Elsa catches a cold the party maybe put at risk.
