November is here, and some major artists have announced albums that are set up to release within the month. The 2013 music scene is slowly coming towards an end, and usually with the attractions and excessive amounts of popularity music can bring, the 2013 year has been focused around newer artists, and the commercial artists were known mainly for their style and publicity.

Eminem – The Marshall Mathers LP 2, November 5th

“The Marshall Mathers LP 2” is Eminem’s eighth studio album, and the album will be released on November 5th, 2013. Eminem is a Detroit rapper, and he is easily one of the most well known musical artists today. The albums lead single is titled “Berzerk” and the song did not fit the expectations for most of Eminem’s fans. The track was considered awful to most people, along with a few other of his singles. Eminem titled his new album “The Marshall Mathers LP 2” and that brought positivity to most fans, thinking that Eminem will travel back to his old style and simply become the old Slim Shady again, but that didn’t happen. Eminem could be messing with everybody by throwing out a genius marketing skill. Most people think Eminem’s new album would be based around his old style, but he could have titled the album “The Marshall Mathers LP 2” to receive more sales, even though it most likely won’t be the album they expect it to be. Eminem’s career is slowly collapsing with the new Hip Hop scene, and he knows it. After Kendrick Lamar released his “Control” verse, Eminem knew he had to step his game up, but he simply isn’t the old Slim Shady, and he probably never will be.

Hopsin – Knock Madness, November 26th

“Knock Madness” is Hopsin’s third studio album, and his second under his independent label Funk Volume. Hopsin has said the overall feel for the album will be different than his other albums, and that the album will be inspiring. The production for “Knock Madness” will be mainly from Hopsin himself, but Travis Barker will produce some songs.  Hopsin’s main hit, “The Ill Mind of Hopsin 5,” was a major success, becoming huge everywhere, with a positive message, so “Knock Madness” should be an interesting listen to see what his next steps in his music will be.

Music in 2013 is arriving at an end, and the music scene keeps expanding to a great but sometimes senseless style of recording, organizing, and style. Either music is becoming breathtaking or it is becoming shocking and sometimes awful.
