This movie did not turn out anything like I expected. I walked in to the theatre expecting another thrilling mystery with a constant plot of twists and wonders, but what I found was a film more along the lines of an action/comedy.

I was not disappointed.

Though I had hoped for another tale that left me thinking, I did enjoy the movie I saw.

Yet again, Robert Downey Junior along with Jude Law provide excellent dialogue and actions that both impressed and amused me. The character of Sherlock Holmes in particular adds another level of interest to the movie. For each disguise I did a double take before I realized who it truly was, and some were worth a few laughs. The movie, overall, is worth the while, but I was not completely satisfied with the overall production. I will await the third installment that is implied in “A Game of Shadows,” but not with the irrational eagerness I had for over a year as I awaited for the release of this film.
