September 14 the Alliance High School held their annual college fair! Ranging in schools from Omaha all the way to Colorado! This gives students such as juniors and seniors a chance to experience what colleges they might want to consider. Such as medical, engineering, and trade school. I made a poll asking the class of 2024, what was their intake on the college fair? Many seniors stated “ I think it’s a good start to where I want to apply to college.”
As a result the college fair opened many doors and opportunities for students. As some students asked about, college visits, scholarships, GPA, and ACT requirements. On the bright side most of the colleges were eligible for free applications to apply. Colleges like Western Nebraska Community College, Chadron, Saint Mary!
Being a senior this year I hope the high school keeps up with the college fair tradition, and experiences every college opportunity!
