Mr. Mark Custer is in his twenty-third year as an Earth Science teacher in the Alliance District; he previously taught at the Alliance Middle School for 16 years and has spent 7 years as a high school teacher. Along with Earth Science, Mr. Custer teaches an Alternative Energy class. Mr. Custer graduated high school in Powell, Wyoming in 1982, and then graduated from the University of Wyoming and Chadron State College. Mr. Custer lives here in Alliance with his wife, Sue. He has 2 boys, Matthew and Mitchell and two stepchildren, Travis and Brittany. Mr. Custer’s out-of-school hobbies include hunting, fishing, camping, and motorcycles. When asked about his favorite part about teaching, Mr. Custer said, “I love teaching the content of Earth Science and watching the kids pick up on it quickly.”
