As you may, or may not know at Alliance High School we have a greenhouse at the North-West side of our building. Looking at our greenhouse it is not in a very good condition. In my opinion I think we need to go in and fix it up to start growing plants again. A greenhouse is a safe haven for plants. It reduces the accessibility of insects and animals that have the potential to damage or destroy your plants. This greenhouse environment reduces exposure to extreme weather conditions such as torrential rain and droughts.

      I also think that having people to come in through the summer or even taking care of it is great volunteer work, and will look good on scholarships, and/or applications. I will soon be talking to our administration about working on the greenhouse for volunteer hours!
