England’s Prince William, the grandson of the current Queen Elizabeth, and his new bride Kate are one of the most famous couples to grace the world. Twenty-four million people tuned in on April 29, 2011, to see the world’s new power couple say their “I do’s” and to critique everything from Kate’s dress to the venue.
Now the royal couple is expecting their first bundle of joy, and though there is no word yet of when the baby is due, and they are ready to welcome the new royal baby with open arms.
The palace announced the royal couple’s happy news on December 3, 2012. The announcement came a little earlier then the couple would have liked, but after Kate’s stay in the hospital for morning sickness, the media was already making assumptions. Kate was released from the hospital on December 13, 2012, with saying that she felt “much better.”
Rumor has it the couple might be expecting twins, according to Simon Perry from People magazine. This means double everything for the couple. There are no records that there have ever been any other twins to grace England’s royal family, so if this rumor holds true, there is sure to be double the interest in the new member of the royal family.
When the royal baby is born it will be the third child in the royal family to be born in the hospital, aside from its uncle and father. Every other child to be born into the royal family in England were born in the palace.
