The month of May brings Cinco de Mayo, Memorial Day, the beginning of summer, and some good movies. A combination of horror, comedy and romantic movies are going to appear in theaters everywhere throughout the month of May.

The Avengers: Age of Ultron – May 1

The Avengers come together for the same cause, Loki’s scepter. But just when they think they’ve won a new threat comes, Ultron. Tony Stark tries to get ahead in a dormant peacekeeping program, things don’t go as planned and the group of Earth’s mightiest heros to save the planet. They have to stop Ultron before he puts his plan in action. Uneasy alliances form and unexpected action pave the way for an epic and unique global adventure.

Before I Wake – May 8

When a couple decides to take in a sweet and what seems to be innocent eight-year-old boy named Cody, everything seems to be okay. Little did they know that Cody is terrified of falling asleep, soon they discover why. Cody’s dreams become a reality. One minute they’re enjoying the wonder of his imagination and the next the terror of his nightmares. The couple travels on a dangerous journey to discover the truth behind his nightmares.

Pitch Perfect 2 – May 15

Anna Kendrick (Beca), Rebel Wilson (Fat Amy) and Brittany Snow (Chloe) come together again to compete in acapella competitions. This time, it’s Beca and Fat Amy’s senior year and when they humiliate themselves in front of the President they have to fight their way back to the top.

Tomorrowland – May 22

A teenage girl, a brilliant old man, and a young female robot have to investigate what happened to Tomorrowland, a place that exists in another dimension. It’s up to them to save the world. Starring George Clooney, Hugh Laurie and Britt Robertson, this family fun movie will be sure to get some good reviews.

Aloha – May 29

Bradley Cooper, Emma Stone, Rachael McAdams, Alec Baldwin, Jay Baruchel, Danny McBride, and Bill Murray star “Aloha.” Set in Hawaii, a military contractor visits the sites of his greatest triumphs, and re-connects with an old ex-girlfriend. But unexpectedly falls for his Air Force watchdog who is assigned to him.

Don’t miss the comedy “Hot Pursuit” starring Reese Witherspoon and Sofia Vergara. A by-the-book cop helps to keep an outgoing widow from a drug boss. They race through Texas being pursued by crooked cops and murderous gunmen.
