January’s Upcoming Movies

With the New Year, comes new movies and there are a lot of exciting ones to come out this January. Even though there’s only a couple family movies coming out, most of the must see movies are rated-R. Here are a few of the must movies.

The Woman in Black 2 Angels of Death- Jan 2

The first Woman in Black starring Daniel Radcliffe, was a thriller that left everyone on the edge of their seats until the end and hiding under blankets during some scenes. Forty years after the first attack, a group of children leave London to escape the London bombings of World War II with a couple of school teachers. When they stay in the Eel Marsh House, they soon come to realize that they are not alone.

The Wedding Ringer- Jan 16

Starring the famous comedian Kevin Hart and also Josh Gad, The Wedding Ringer is about the CEO of Best Man, Inc., a company that supplies socially awkward guys with a best man. Doug Harris happens to be in need of a best man with two weeks to go to the wedding. As they try and pull off this big con, a bromance has unexpectedly grown between the two.

Paddington- Jan 16

One of the few family friendly movies coming out this month happens to be about a lovable Peruvian bear. The young bear travels the city in search of a home. He realizes that the city life isn’t what he thought it was and he was all-alone. Paddington meets the Brown family who takes him in to offer him a temporary haven. His luck has changed, until the rarest of the bears catches the eye of a museum taxidermist.

The Boy Next Door- Jan 23

The must see thriller this month brings in Jennifer Lopez, Kristin Chenoweth, and Ryan Guzman. When a forbidden attraction goes too far, a single mom must protect her son. The teenage boy next door befriends her son after a night she wishes she could take back. She ends the romance right after it starts, but he won’t take no for an answer.

Also this Month

granddaughter away from her drug-addicted father. The widowed attorney battles bitterness and racial tension and learns to forgive and how to provide for the only family he has left.
