Candle Business Update

Candle+Business+Update

I can’t wait to experience the results of a small business. Back in November, I decided to start my own business to create a small hobby to get out of my depression rut. As months went by I started to really enjoy the process and started to actually enjoy doing things such as crafts. In result of starting my business, I decided to keep it local to just my community for the first year!

For the past couple of months, I’ve been trying to form the perfect candle consistency, and I did just that! As a result of my business and costly expenses, I decided to start my business off with candle cubes. Opening my small business has been a huge eye-opener for many reasons. Such as finding out people’s interests, and how much I’ll charge, as a result, the first scents I’m coming out with will be in a bundle. Called “Flower Cakes”, the set will consist of Rose, Lavender, Rosemary, and Daisy.

I created a small google form and sent it out to the teachers asking about their favorite candle scent and why. Many responded with Lilac because it makes you feel at home, hence the bundle coming out. My purchase date is set for March 13th, a set of 6 homemade Scentsy cubes for $4. My bundles can be purchased through my email [email protected], or a personal face-to-face order in person! I can’t wait to start the order process and experience the effect of my own small business! I’d like to thank the SPUD for the advertisement ground, and anyone that has helped me along the way!
