Grand Theft Auto V, January 27th, PC

“Grand Theft Auto V” has been the most talked about game recently. It was first released on Xbox 360 and PS3, and it won the Game of the Year Award in 2013. Later Rockstar Games announced that they would release GTA V for the next generation, since the consoles were released shortly after the game was. Fans were excited, but Rockstar shocked everybody by adding a stunning first person perspective with advanced details and additional features. Now “Grand Theft Auto V” will be released on the PC for all of the computer gamers.

Dying Light, January 30th

“Dying Light” is an upcoming survival horror game published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment. The game was first announced during the 2013 Game of the Year Awards and fans have been reminded of “Dead Island,” a very similar horror survival game that was released in 2011. “Dying Light” is an open world zombie apocalypse game that takes place in Urfa Turkey. The player must do anything to survive, mainly by scavenging supplies and crafting weapons with a huge focus on freerunning mechanics that are only possible with next gen physics. The game is mostly melee based so it should be a tough challenge for anybody who enjoys zombie games.

January is usually a weak month in gaming but in the coming months better games will be released. Marketing is easier in the next few months, especially with the upcoming conferences where new games and trailers will be released.
