The AHS cross-country team ran in the Alliance invite on September 21.The teams that raced were Scottsbluff, Gering, Mitchell, Chadron, Alliance, Sidney, Kimball, Hemingford, Gordon-Rushville, and Bridgeport.  Alliance got 5^th place out of ten schools.

For the varsity girls Kelsey Adamson ran for 5^th place during a 5k Varsity run she also accumulated her personal best time, 21:47. Way to go Kelsey!  For the varsity boys Brett Menuey got a personal best of 18:28. Tristan Stephenson also received a personal best of 19:13. Truen Henderson finished at 20:06. Ryan Waggener ran for 21:15. Eli Rischling clocked in at 22:44. Alliance High cross-country team has a new runner, Jeff Heusman. He did not run this last race but he will be with the AHS cross-country team at practice.  The Alliance cross-country team tries extremely hard to achieve their goals. The team wishes to have as many supporters as possible; it jump-starts their confidence. The next cross-country meet is in Ogallala on September 26.
