10. “Hell on Heels” by Pistol Annies. This is a recently formed trio with Miranda Lambert as the lead singer, her accompanying artists are Ashley Monroe and Angeleena Presely. This album recalls Lambert’s sketchier early days and is true country. The hit songs include “Hell on Heels” and “Boys from the South.” It’s in hot demand and rates four and a half stars out of five stars on iTunes.com 9. “Loud” by Rihanna. This album is rave ready. It’s got a great techno-pop sound that keeps people wanting more. Forget her previous album, “Rated R,” with its goth sound and listen to songs such as “S&M” and “Only Girl.” Her sound reflects her previous albums, pre-2009, and, understandably, received four and a half stars out of five on iTunes. 8. “I’m With You” by Red Hot Chili Peppers. Want new songs from the Peppers? Yeah, me too, and this album totally delivers! Red Hot Chili Peppers are like fine wine and even though they are ten albums in, they just keep getting better. The sound hasn’t changed much and you get what you’re expecting. Hit songs like “The Adventures of Rain Dance Maggie,” “Monarchy of Roses,” and “Brendan’s Death Song” help make the collection great. its iTunes four out of five stars rating is well deserved. 7. “Femme Fatale” by Britney Spears. On iTunes this album is rated four and a half stars out of five and still you all are making fun of her. I would rethink that and listen to this album. It is one of the greatest dance albums I have ever listened to. With her seventh studio album she once again to tops her former hits. Her newest songs, “Till the World Ends,” “Hold it Against Me,” and “I Wanna Go” had me car dancing. 6. “Tha Carter IV” by Lil Wayne. This album is fresh and hot! Released Monday, August 29, this album is already causing a storm in the music industry. Lil Wayne goes back to his roots in this album. The hooks aren’t as long and the album is a little unorganized, but it works. “Mirror,” “How to Hate,” and “It’s Good” are already making number one. I’m that impressed only one day its release, this album received four and a half out of five stars on iTunes. 5. “Born This Way” by Lady Gaga. This album is wonderfully musical, I appreciate all of her piano solos, saxophone solos, and vocals. The message in this album is what the title says, “Born This Way,” in other words, be what you were born to be. This is her second full album, which proved that after only two studio albums, she is truly an artist and musician.“Born This Way” on iTunes received four and a half out of five stars and I would not expect any less. 4. “My Kinda Party” by Jason Aldean. “Dirty Road Anthem,” “Don’t You Wanna Stay,” and “My KindaParty” are some song titles from this album, just to name a few, and I love every single one, which is saying a great deal coming from someone who hates country. This album is for everyone no matter what you listen to because the mainstream sound appeals to all audiences. This one rates a four and a half stars out of five on iTunes. 3. “Post Mortem” by Black Tide. Black Tide took me by storm with their first album, “Light from Above.” The kids were only sixteen when they put their first album out and it had a great rock sound. Their new album though is nothing but the best, they tweaked their sound a little and made it more mainstream, but that is not a bad thing. With their collision of Bullet for my Valentine mixed with Metallica this album rocks! Everyone should listen to this iTunes rated four star band at least once. 2. “The R.E.D Album” by Game. This former G-Unit member has been off the scene for two years, but kept busy with this album because it is one of the best rap albums I have ever heard. It features the biggest rappers: Dr. Dre, Snoop Dogg, Lil Wayne, Drake, Rick Ross, Lloyd, Mario, and Chris Brown. Four and a half stars out of five on iTunes doesn’t even begin to describe the awesomeness of this album. This album is strongly recommended. 1. “Teenage Dream” by Katy Perry. This album received four stars out of five and earned many awards. The hits “Teenage Dream,” “California Gurls,” “Last Friday Night,” “Firework,” and “E.T.,” all reached number one and stayed there for weeks. Moreover, Katy Perry has been the only artist besides Micheal Jackson to have five songs from the same album reach number one. This album has a pop sound all the way, but doesn’t make your ears bleed. The catchy hooks and melodies will make you dance and sing along to the music. She is leading the way for female pop icons and is a role model for musicians everywhere. This one is four and a half stars according to iTunes.
