April has a wide variety of movies coming out, from horror movies to a remake of one of Disney’s classics, there’s something for everyone. Don’t forget to check out your local theatre to watch the cinematic masterpieces coming to you.

Hardcore Henry – April 8

This film is unlike any film in the sense that you never really get a good look at the main character the story line is following because it is being shot from the hero’s perspective. Henry gets revived from the dead by his wife, but doesn’t remember anything. After being told his name, almost instantaneously he is getting shot at and his wife is getting kidnapped. Now he must face the unfamiliar city of Moscow and avoid being killed in order to save his wife.

The Jungle Book – April 15

This live-action film is a remake of the Disney animated classic, The Jungle Book. The storyline follows Mowgli, a man-cub who is raised by wolves. When Shere Khan decides he is a threat and will do anything to eliminate him, Mowgli must abandon the only home he’s ever known and goes on a journey of self-discovery.

The Huntsman: Winter’s War – April 22

This isn’t Snow White’s tale this time, discover the Evil Queen’s story. Starring Chris Hemsworth, Charlize Theron, and Emily Blunt, this film is full of action, but instead of good versus evil, it’s two dark forces fighting against each other. The sisters are fighting to keep the kingdom.

Ratchet & Clank – April 29

Two unlikely heroes struggle to stop an alien from destroying every planet in the Solana Galaxy. Ratchet is the last one of his kind and has grown up with no family of his own. Clank is a pint-sized robot with more brains than brawn. When the two stumble upon a dangerous weapon capable of destroying entire plants, they must join together with the Galactic Rangers in order to save the galaxy.

Don’t miss Melissa McCarthy in her newest comedy The Boss, with Kristen Bell and Kathy Bates. After McCarthy is sent to prison for insider trading, she tries to come out as America’s sweetheart, but things may not go her way.
