Coming into May we unfortunately see our final “To Be Released” of the school year, but worry not because this month’s releases should make up for the long summer ahead.

Bound By Fire – May 9th

Starting us off with the multiplatform games is “Bound By Fire”. The game puts the player into an RPG world with a custom character that is given powers by a demon to corrupt the world. Given the choice to either reject the new powers or accept them, the player goes on countless quests and fights many of the foes from the depths of the underworld.

Wolfenstein: The New Order – May 20th

The Nazi’s won the war and now its time to fight again and take back the win in “Wolfenstein: The New Order”. Taking place in an alternate timeline where Nazi Germany had won the war and is now a technological powerhouse, its time to fix the problem the only way any first-person shooter knows how: big guns.

Watch_Dogs – May 27th

With single player that will take at least 35 hours of gameplay to complete, you play as Aiden Pearce in an alternate modern version of Chicago and struggle to see who really controls the flow of information throughout the city and the world.

Mario Kart 8 – May 30th

Nintendo is up first with exclusives and gives only one title this month. Taking us back to the Mushroom Kingdom for more racing is “Mario Kart 8” for the Wii U.

Slender: The Arrival – May 28th

Microsoft also gives us one release this month, but it’s a big release. Being based on the Internet legend “Slenderman”, “Slender: The Arrival” is a sequel to “Slender: The Eight Pages” and is a great game for those who like a good scare once in awhile.

With no Sony, PC, or downloadable content this month, we can only look forward to June. Being my last story for the year and for The Spud, I would like to say thank you to anyone who read the articles we posted and personally I would like to say thank you. Check back in September for more “To Be Released.”
