Mrs. Michelle Wurdeman, a new face here at Alliance High school, was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska. Mrs. Wurdeman was involved in many activities during high school including rodeo, dance, cheerleading, speech, and volleyball.  She attended the University of Nebraska at Kearney, where she received her bachelors degree in education. She started her career as a teacher at UNK as a Spanish translator/interpreter major, but later switched to secondary Spanish eduction during her second semester of her freshman year. Mrs. Wurdeman graduated in 2015 and then accepted the position at Alliance High school to teach Spanish. When asked why she chose to teach this subject, she stated that “I have a love for the Spanish culture and language”. Her goal for the 2016-2017 school year is to help students lean and embrace the Spanish language and culture, as well as to get to know the students of Alliance High school.

She married Mr. Ryan Wurdeman, who teaches English at AHS, in July of 2016. They have two children, Ryleigh who is four years old, and Beckham, who is two and a half months old. In her free time, Mrs. Wurdeman enjoys traveling and spending time with her family.
